Cathy completed a Bachelor of Science, Honours, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (psychology) before entering the field of health care as a massage therapist in 2004. She graduated from the Kine Concept Institute of Massage in Ottawa, meriting the Touch Research Centre Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

In addition to treating a variety of conditions, Cathy spends much of her time volunteering in sports. She has provided her services at numerous national and internatioanl events including the Paralympic Games, the World Cerebral Palsy Games, the Canada Summer Games, the Artic Winter Games and the Boston Marathon. She is also a volunteer coach with the Ottawa Special Olympics Curling club. 

Cathy remains very much involved with the academic aspect of the profession having served as massage teacher for 3 years. Cathy operates a home-based clinic and works in association with the Quality Care Physiotherapy centre.

Cathy is fluently bilingual; she welcomes both English and French-speaking clients.
